We specialize in full sand refinishing to completely restore your floor to like-new condition.

In addition, we offer hardwood floor screen & recoat maintenance to refresh your floor. We also offer wax removal and deep cleaning services.

What is Full Sand Refinishing?

Full Sand Refinishing is a complete floor restoration service. It yields like-new results over several days of work. Sanding down to raw wood is required to remove deep gouges, warped/cupped planks or water damage caused by pets, or when the client desires a new floor colour.

What is a Screen & Recoat

Screen & Recoat is a hardwood floor maintenance service. Think of it as a periodic refresh, perfect for removing surface-level scratches, by abrading the old finish and adding two protective coats of high-end floor finish.

What can I expect?

A screen & recoat is a great option to refresh your floors and raise the overall appeal. Being a maintenance option, limited outcome of up to a 75% visual improvement.

How long does this take?

Screen & recoat (maintenance) takes a day for the average house. You can walk on your refreshed floor the next morning.

Full sand refinishing (restoration) takes a 3-5 days. To sand down to bare wood following a 3-4 sandpaper grit sequence with the belt sander, edger, multi-disc and palm sander, then staining and letting stain dry overnight, then finally applying clear 3 clear coats takes a few days, depending on the square footage of your home.

Waterborne or oil-based polyurethane?

For waterborne products, we apply Aqua-Pro, Pallmann, Loba or Bona waterborne floor finishes (yes, the best on the market). These dry quickly (can walk on floors the same day), have low VOCs hence low toxicity. We offer a variety of finishes, including 2-component (2k), commercial grade finishes and also ceramic fortified floor finishes with superior scratch resistance.

How long does the new protection last?

Remember that the floor finish is a wear layer that protects the wood underneath. The USA National Wood Flooring Association recommends a screen & recoat maintenance work every 3-5 years to keep your wood floors protected and the eyes pleased. After a full sand refinish is performed, a screen & recoat is the follow up procedure after a few years to refresh the floors.

Do you provide free in-house consultations?

Which geographical areas do you serve?

We provide quality service mostly in the Niagara region and Hamilton, but also Burlington and Oakville to make a new client happy.

Do you recommend floor shines or wax?

Contrary to TV commercials, store-bought floor shines, waxes, rejuvenator products actually make your floors dull-looking over time, with smear marks, inconsistent coating and overall contribute to dirt and bacteria accumulation. If you have been applying wax for years, it might be time to have it professionally removed and reveal the natural and original look of your floors. We safely remove wax off your hardwood floors with for-wood-formulated wax emulsifiers.

What machines do you use?

Owing to our periodical participation in OEM industry workshops, we continue to improve our trade. We utilize heavy-duty floor machines from Pallmann, Bona, Lagler and Galaxy. There’ll be no airborne dust. See for yourself here.

Do you move furniture?

No, we do not move any furniture for two reasons: we do not want to be responsible for breaking any of your beautiful belongings and also, we do not want to injure our staff.

Is there warranty?

Yes, 5-year warranty against dulling or peeling of the finish.
